Free assistance with filing tax forms is again available for senior citizens in Shasta County. The AARP Foundation tax-aide sites closed in mid-March because of COVID-19. A modified in-person service is being offered at Frontier Senior Center in Anderson starting next Tuesday. No AARP membership is required. Appointments can be made by calling 500-2206. The deadline to file taxes has been extended to July 15th.
