A crash overnight in East Redding knocked out power to hundreds of people. At about 12:15AM a car struck a power pole, shearing it in half, then struck A&I Engines on East Cypress at Alfreda before landing upside down. Redding Police say the driver, 26-year-old Izaiah Harrisonferrari, was hospitalized with moderate injuries. He will likely face charges for driving under the influence of alcohol. Harrisonferrari is currently on probation with a “no alcohol” clause. 400 Redding Electric Utility customers lost power as a result of the crash.
