Public Can Participate In PG&E Fire Safety Meeting

An online meeting will be presented by PG&E on Wednesday to explain to the public how they’re trying to improve the safety of their system while minimizing inconveniences for customers. The utility is trying to make public safety power shutoffs smaller in area, shorter in length and more sensible for their intended purpose of fire prevention. Customers will have a chance to ask questions during the webinar. There are separate webinars for the various regions served by PG&E. For customers in Shasta, Tehama and Glenn counties, it’ll be Wednesday from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, accessible 30 minutes before the meeting at this link: https://bit.ly/2XBVZ8M
