Fake registration stickers led to a weapons bust on Saturday in South Redding. 34-year-old Christopher Collins was pulled over on Cedars Road and allegedly consented to a search, turning up drug paraphernalia. That led officers to search the car. They reported finding a stolen AK-47 style rifle with a loaded 30 round magazine attached, a .45 caliber semi-auto handgun with the serial number obliterated, and six .45 caliber magazines, 3 of them loaded. Collins was booked into jail on several charges.
