A structure fire early Tuesday morning on Henderson road in Redding sent several spot fires out into the Henderson Open Space. At 1:30AM Redding Firefighters arrived to find a storage shed fire had spread to 4 other structures, including a large detached garage, which was destroyed. The fire also affected an RV and another vehicle. Embers carried into the fields and woods started spot fires that burned a total of about a half acre. The area continues to be under patrol into Tuesday morning. Damage is estimated at $250,000 for structures and $80,000 for contents.
