19 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Shasta County over the past few days. Public health says that 6 new cases were confirmed Friday, 8 on Saturday and 5 on Sunday. Shasta County now has 600 cases, with 12 deaths. No case work was done on Monday due to the Labor Day holiday. Two people are hospitalized, with 1 in intensive care. There are 21 active cases, and 111 people are being isolated due to possible exposure. 37,820 negative tests have been conducted.
Butte County reported another 5 deaths and 136 cases on Tuesday. There have been a total of 2,463 cases in Butte County. Trinity County has had 14 cases. Tehama County is on the state watch list with 442 cases and one death. Glenn County has had 497 cases and 3 deaths. Lassen County has had 86 cases in the community, in addition to 634 in the prison population. There have been 144 in Siskiyou County and 397 in Humboldt County with 4 deaths. Modoc County is now reporting 21 cases.
