2 New Deaths Reported In Tehama County, Shasta County Sees Jump In Cases

After a week of very low new case numbers, Shasta County reported 18 new cases Saturday and 7 from Friday, for a total of 637. 14 had symptoms. there are 23 active cases, and two people remain hospitalized. 105 people are quarantined due to possible exposure.

Butte County Public Health has reported 2629 cases, with 28 deaths. The numbers may be missing some new cases because the public health office was evacuated last week due to the fires. Trinity County has had 15 cases. Tehama County is on the state watch list with 473 cases and they’ve added two more deaths for a total of three. Glenn County has had 522 cases and 3 deaths. Lassen County has had 90 cases in the community, in addition to 637 in the prison population. There have been 155 in Siskiyou County and 447 in Humboldt County with 5 deaths. Modoc County has now reported 22 cases.
