The 2020 census ends in a week and there are a number of households that have yet to respond. The self response rate is actually better overall than it was in 2010, but a few counties are still behind. Shasta County and Tehama County are doing pretty well but Trinity County is more than 17% below its response rate from a decade ago. Participation benefits everyone in the area because the census determines a lot of federal funding and political representation. Any household that has not taken the survey should go to my2020census.gov or call 844-330-2020.
