Redding Fire Department responded just before 6AM to a reported structure fire at the Loma Vista Apartments at the corner of Churn Creek Road and Loma Vista Road. Heavy smoke had been reported coming from one of the apartments. Firefighters found a small kitchen fire that had already been extinguished.
