Pathways to Hope for Children, Shasta County’s child abuse prevention organization, is reaching teens in a language they can understand. A new mobile phone app has been developed that’s specifically geared toward Shasta County teenagers. It’s called “Teen Centered”, and it allows access to resources for friends in need, including the Suicide Prevention Hotline, One Safe Place to address teen dating violence, College Options, the SMART Workforce Center, the Teen Center, homeless resources and much more. The “Teen Centered” app can be found in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, or through a link at hopeshasta.org.
