A 37-year-old Tehama County man has been sentenced for threatening his father with a knife. On March 18th of last year, Dennis Robert Terrell of Los Molinos entered his father’s home uninvited and threatened to stab him. The victim fended Terrell off as he repeatedly lunged at him and threatened to stab him in the neck with a pocket knife. Terrell was found guilty last month of felony criminal threats and misdemeanor assault. During the jury trial, audio archives of the 9-1-1 call were played, during which Terrell could be heard yelling threats in the background. Terrell has been sentenced to three years in state prison.
