A man from Fresno has been captured by Redding Police after reportedly running from them on New Years Eve. In that incident, 31-year-old Tyrone Williams was accused of threatening a neighbor with a gun during a dispute. Officers say when they stopped a car he was in he ran and got away. That same car, a Toyota Camry, was stopped just before 2 O’clock Friday morning in the Parkview Neighborhood and Williams reportedly jumped from the passenger seat and took off running. A perimeter was set up and a CHP helicopter assisted. Kiko the K9 found Williams under a pile of debris in the backyard of a Parkview Avenue home. He would not surrender so Miko latched onto his shoulder and dragged him out. He was treated at a hospital and then booked into jail. Officers say they found Cocaine and evidence of sales in the car where he had been sitting.
