The election to recall Shasta County Supervisor Leonard Moty is a done deal. Shasta County Clerk and Registrar of Voters Cathy Darling-Allen already had said there weren’t enough ballots to overturn the recall, but now the replacement is a certainty as well. Tim Garman has edged out Dale Ball by fewer than 200 votes. The turnout was 41.3% of registered voters in District Two. The election will be certified as soon as everything is counted and audited, likely next week.
