A Redding woman is accused of firing a shotgun blast at a car containing her husband and his two children. At 1:15AM Sunday morning Redding Police were called to Glengary Drive, where they were confronted by 43-year-old Mindy Garduno. After negotiations she was taken into custody. Garduno and her husband had apparently been in an argument that reached a point when the two of them were fighting over a shotgun. The man got his two kids into the car and was backing out of the driveway when Garduno reportedly came into the front yard and fired the shotgun, striking the driver’s side of the windshield. Nobody was injured. Garduno was booked attempted murder, domestic violence and child endangerment.
