There were several errors made during an attempted robbery of a South Redding fast food restaurant Sunday afternoon, according to police. At 2 O’clock a man wearing a skull face mask walked into the Jack-In-The-Box on Railroad Avenue, brandished a knife at the cashier and demanded money. Despite the mask, the cashier apparently recognized the robber as a former co-worker, 32-year-old Andrew Harrington. He refused to hand over any money and the robber left. RPD Officers found Harrington nearby wearing different clothing. During a search of the area the other clothing was found, along with the knife. Harrington was booked into jail for attempted robbery.
