There’s a planned power outage this weekend for thousands of PG&E customers in Shasta and Tehama Counties. Crews will be working on a substation in Manton and will need to shut off electricity to about 4,000 customers in Shingletown, Manton, Paynes Creek, Mill Creek and Mineral. The outage will begin at around 10 O’clock Saturday night and the lights should come back on at around 8 O’clock Sunday morning.
