A date and time has been set for the final approval of a housing development in the Palo Cedro area. Despite a very vocal organized opposition, the Tierra Robles project was unanimously recommended by the Shasta County Planning Commission in February. It now requires the approval of the Board of Supervisors. The Tierra Robles Subdivision would be 166 homes on 715 acres accessed by Old Alturas Road and Boyle Road. Many neighbors cite concerns including water, traffic and fire danger. The meeting will be July 21st at 3 O’clock in the Supervisors Chambers on Court Street.
