Council Expected To Approve $8.3 Million Computer Software Upgrade

At Tuesday nights meeting, the Redding City Council is expected to approve a major software upgrade for nearly all the city’s computer systems. The currently used software is extremely outdated, having been installed nearly 40 years ago and with almost no available support still in existence. The new software, Cherry Road by Oracle, will be implemented by Graviton Consulting. The combined cost for the software and support is $8.3 Million over the course of 10 years.
