A young woman intentionally struck some people with her car early Thursday morning, according to Redding Police. Just after 4AM police and medical personnel were called to Lake Redding Park, where three people were suffering serious but non-life threatening injuries. They were transported to Mercy Hospital. Witnesses told officers that 19-year-old Hallie Williams had been the driver, and that she had hit the people after a fight and some vandalism to her car. Anderson Police located Williams and her car in Anderson. RPD determined Williams was drunk when she struck the victims and she was arrested for felony DUI and assault with a deadly weapon.
